DenTrek Declaration
Declaration for DenTrek CE Webcasts:
DenTrek is dedicated to delivering timely and relevant information and technology in dentistry in an open and unbiased, peer-reviewed online format. It should be noted that our CE webcasts are not supported by any outside funding from manufacturers or other commercial sources. Any potential bias must be declared in the lecturer's disclosure statement which will be a full and complete disclosure of any potential conflict of interest included with every lecture. Viewers should know that any CE webcast that appears to be directed at marketing a particular product, or any lecturer who fails to disclose a potential conflict, will be removed from the DenTrek CE program. Unbiased information is our goal, and unbiased information is what our members will get.
Declaration for DenTrek Sponsored Tutorials:
In an effort to expand DenTrek's offerings to members, Sponsored Tutorials are available. These audio-visual tutorials are provided by manufacturers and are an ideal way to learn how to use new products in a time-efficient and effective manner. Tutorials are requested to be a learning experience and not a sales promotion. The goal is for Sponsored Tutorials to provide added information for members. It is, however, felt that even though such tutorials cannot be viewed as unbiased, they will provide an excellent additional information source for assuring correct usage of new products on patients. Sponsored Tutorials are free to members and are not associated with CE credits.
